PROJECT SAS 2017

Purpose of  Project :

The basic purpose of the project is to promote education by providing basic school supplies to under privileged students from government schools in rural villages.

Brief Description of Project : 

¨ Project was started during the academic year 2014-15.

¨ Complete school kits were provided to 725, 1538& 1243 students during  2014-15, 2015-16 & 2016-17 academic years respectively.

¨ 6896 students benefited through our project during the last three academic years (2014-15, 2015-16 & 2016-17).

We planned to continue our project this academic year (2017-18) with an aim to support at least 2000 students.

Role of Volunteers:

Volunteers are integral part of our organization and all the projects implemented till date are successful only because of their hard work and commitment.

The project involved relentless hard work of 10 volunteers for over 2 months

( Initial Planning—> Surveys in Schools —> Search for Sponsors

            —> Procuring of kits  —> Transport of kits —> Distribution of kits )

 

SAS 2017:

The project was led by Mr. Ganesh Palakurla and ably supported by Mr. AbhilashPulijala and Mr. Bharath Kumar, they managed all the planning, scheduling, transportation & distribution of kits and also all the finances and  accounts related to the project.

We selected the following schools to distribute the school kits,

Rangareddy           :  Amangal (ZPHS – Girls & ZPHS Co-Ed)

Rangareddy           :  Kolkulpally, Nagilla, Veljal

Nalgonda               :  Tirumalagiri, Rajavaram from Tirumalagiri Mandal

Kadapa                   :  Porumamilla
