Books & Stationary Donation

Most of the students in the government schools come from very poor families and end up as school drop outs due to lack of proper infrastructure and poor teaching standards.
Education, we believe is the greatest wealth one can have so we decided to do something for children's education and made plans to reach the most vulnerable and needy children in the slums and rural villages and also orphans, semi orphans and children from very poor families. We feel every citizen should give something of value back to the society.
We made it a mission to donate books, exam kits and stationery to underprivileged children.

We have decided to involve students from corporate schools and colleges in our mission as well. We made a presentation and our team has visited various schools and colleges and issued a plea to students to donate to this cause. It was a huge success and we were able to collect books and stationery items in great numbers from various people.

"And the best thing is that the children who are donated with these books so highly value the books and the writing instruments that they cherish them and use them with great care.''

Teaching & Guidance

Aimed at Conducting teaching sessions in the slum areas, we adopt a government school and our volunteers conduct Teaching session on every Saturday and take classes to the students and teach them their syllabus rather in an effective and practical way. We also teach them basic computer science. We divide the work between the volunteers depending on their capability and interest in dealing with subjects. Every child in a class is focused and volunteers concentrate on them by analysing their intelligence and interest.

Digital Classes

Technology is changing the world we live in and is impacting every facet of our lives including education. We are moving with the times and are incorporating new and innovative teaching methods. We recently introduced the concept of digital classes, where we used a variety of videos as we feel learning should be made fun as fun + lesson is more effective than the conventional way. We downloaded videos from various sources; videos about basic health and hygiene, Good manners, some lessons from their subjects and also few drawing tutorials, the children enjoyed the new experience and are inclined towards learning more this way.

Our Activity:

We have been conducted teaching sessions during the academic year (2013-14) at Govt.Primary School, Rasoolpura, Secunderabad
Our team conducted teaching sessions on every Saturday from
June 2013 to April 2014.
